Skanda Adiga

An aspiring engineer, Skanda Adiga is a child of tenth grade in Ahalya Bai’s High School. An avid reader and a stamp collector in his free time, Skanda is keen to learn and imbibe good life values. His mother, Savithri is a single parent and a tailor by profession, who is trying to stitch together a future for her two sons on a monthly income of Rs. 1500 ($25). Skanda’s journey with SAC began in early 2009: ‘SAC is a helping hand in my child’s life,’ remarks Savithri. She further wishes that the program extends its hands to everyone in need. The SAC came to be a perfectly tailored answer to the dreams of Skanda and his family.
