A pre-university child from Kengeri - Karnataka, Chetan gets up every morning with only one goal in mind, to fulfil his mother’s dream to see him as Chartered Accountant. He lives with his mother and sister. Son of Late Mr M L Chandrashekhar, Chethan got to know about Sponsor A Child (SAC) Program from one of his uncles and has been receiving the scholarship since 2005. He likes reading books and quotes and listens to music in his free time. As an alumni of SAC goes to RJS Pre-University College at 8 am and revises whatever has been taught in the day the very same evening. A young man, who just loves to study and gain knowledge, Also has deep sense of responsibilities towards contributing back to society. Taking care of her children singlehandedly is Chethan’s mother, Rajeshwari works in a library and does tailoring to supplement the income. She needed monetary support for the education of her children. She says that the scholarship from SAC has reduced the burden on her shoulders. It is only because of this scholarship her children are getting good education and so is thankful for the support that has been given by SAC. She inspires Chethan to study well and achieve good social status, so that he can also help other poor children in their education in future.
