Anand N wishes for his daughter, Apoorva, to become a software engineer. However, his family of four live on a meagre monthly income of Rs. 6000 ($100). Apoorva’s family heard of the SAC program and decided to take its aid. With the help of SAC, Apoorva is able to receive formal education that will help her realise her dreams. Apoorva loves to dance and wishes to pursue dancing seriously some day. She says she goes to school to gain all-rounded development. Of the many memories that she will take back from the SAC experience, her favourite is having being able to win a prize for an exam that she studied for. Her happiness makes her parents grateful to the SAC program and hope that its endeavours light up the future for many others like Apoorva.
